month. Today we will start seeing the captains of the European teams,
with a total of 14 countries.
Granqvist (Sweden)
Andreas Granqvist (Påarp, Sweden, April
16, 1985), is a Swedish footballer. He plays defense and his current
team is the Krasnodar of the Russian Premier League.
He has been international with the
Swedish national football team 32 times. His international debut came
in January 2006 against Jordan and he has scored 2 goals.
Ivanovic (Serbia)
Branislav Ivanović, (Sremska Mitrovica,
former Federal Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia, February 22, 1984),
is a Serbian footballer. He serves as a central defender or
right-back and currently plays for Zenit St. Petersburg of the
Russian Premier League.
Ivanović made his Serbia and Montenegro

in Toronto, Canada, entering as a substitute in the 77th minute for

Soviet Union, February 9, 1990) is a Russian footballer. He plays for
forward and his current team is the Krasnodar of the Russian Premier
League.
On November 6, 2012 it was announced
that he was summoned for the first time to the senior team, with a
view to a friendly against the United States in Krasnodar on the 14th
of that same month. He scored his first goal with the team 9 minutes
into the match, but he was injured on that play, so he had to leave
the field after scoring the goal.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal)
Cristiano Ronaldo, (Funchal, Madeira,
February 5, 1985), is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a forward
in the Real Madrid Football Club of the First Division of Spain and
in the national team of Portugal, of which he is captain.
His debut in an official match took
place in the match held on June 12 at Euro 2004 in Portugal.
Sergio Ramos (Spain)
Sergio Ramos Garcés. (Camas, Sevilla,
March 30, 1986), better known as Sergio Ramos, is a Spanish
footballer who plays as a defender in the Real Madrid Football Club
of the First Division of Spain.
His debut as international of the
«absolute team», took place with 18 years, the 26 of March of 2005
in Salamanca, in a friendly in which Spain won by 3-0 to the
selection of China.
Neuer (Germany)
Manuel Peter Neuer (Gelsenkirchen, North
Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, March 27, 1986) is a German footballer who
plays as goalkeeper and his current team is Bayern Munich of the
Bundesliga of Germany. He is also international and captain of the
German national team.
On May 19, 2009, he was called by
Joachim Löw to play the Asian tour that made his selection. He
debuted on June 2 against the United Arab Emirates, a match won by
the Germans by a bulging score of 7-2.
Henderson (England)
Jordan Brian Henderson (Sunderland, Tyne
and Wear, England, June 17, 1990) is an English footballer. He is a
midfielder and currently plays for Liverpool in the English Premier
League.
On November 17, 2010, Jordan was called
for the first time to the England National Team to play a friendly
match against France. Jordan played the whole game and was a teammate
of Steven Gerrard in the midfield, although his team was defeated
2-1.
Lloris (France)
Hugo Lloris (Nice, France, December 26,
1986) is a French footballer, plays goalkeeper and his current team
is Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League of England. Lloris has
also been a fundamental part of the French national team in all its
categories, being currently the captain of the national team.
He made his debut with the senior team
in a friendly against Uruguay on November 19, 2008.
Lewandowski (Poland)
Robert Lewandowski (Warsaw, Mazovia,
August 21, 1988) is a Polish footballer who plays as a forward at the
Fußball-Club Bayern München in the Bundesliga in Germany. He is an
absolute international with the Polish national team, of which he is
the captain and historical top scorer.
Robert Lewandowski debuted in the Polish
national team on September 10, 2008, against San Marino in the
qualifying phase of the World Cup in South Africa. In addition, in
this match he scored his first international goal.
Hazard (Belgium)
Eden Hazard (La Louvière, Hainaut,
Belgium, January 7, 1991) is a Belgian footballer who plays as a left
winger or midfielder and his current team is Chelsea FC of the
Premier League of England.
Although Hazard was still eligible to
represent Belgium in youth categories, on November 18, 2008, he was
called by coach René Vandereycken to the senior team for the first

World Cup, being a starter in both games and being out of the last
due to the accumulation of yellow cards. He has scored two goals with
his team.

Stephan Lichtsteiner (Adligenswil,
Switzerland, January 16, 1984) is a Swiss footballer. He plays
right-back and his current team is Juventus F. C. of Serie A of Italy
With the national team he has been
international 98 times and has scored 8 goals. His debut came on
